Taking Tribal Global- Dancing with Joy!

photo-1Deirdre’s Dance Den

From the world of Gypsy Caravan Tribal Bellydance (TM) and the hub of Deirdre’s Dance Den, I want to share a heart-warming anecdote from a Gypsy Caravan student, Martha Rosas, certified in Collective Soul Levels One and Two, and Teacher Training Level One, living in Kansas in the US. It’s sure to put a smile on your face and a nod of agreement I’ll bet! Tribal Rocks!

Martha says: When I first saw Gypsy Caravan perform at my first Tribal Fest in 2005, I wasn’t sure what I was witnessing—a group of women, elegant, full of joy and color as they danced on stage.  It took me few years and workshops later to realize that all roads led me to them.     Martha picture multi cultural day

I have always appreciated and embraced the beauty of the sisterhood this dance brings to our lives, but I can say it has also filled my life with joy and great memories.  I share this dance at home with my dance sisters and desire for them to experience its magical properties—the spontaneous “joie de vivre” that only happens when we come together in this dance form. I hope to evolve with this dance style and represent it with integrity, and continue to meet all the amazing dance sisters around the globe as we smile and dance to the same Gypsy Caravan beat.”    Martha at Shimmy for the cure

How does Tribal Rock your world? Spread the joy and share your story with us… write to me your ideas and comments and be featured in Deirdre’s Dance Den!

Thanks for being here…see you next time!
